Cottage Garden Bloom is inspired by the gentle beauty of wildflowers growing freely in an English cottage garden.
Soft washes of fresh greens and warm sunlight tones create a delicate meadow-like background, while sculptural impasto flowers rise from the surface of the painting, catching the light and adding a beautiful sense of texture and depth. The combination of painted stems and richly textured petals creates a feeling of movement, as if the flowers are swaying softly in a summer breeze.
