About The Artist

Siobhan McEvoy is a contemporary painter whose work explores emotional presence, memory, and atmosphere through layered abstraction. Her paintings are informed by lived experience and an ongoing interest in how colour, gesture, and surface can hold feeling without narrative.

Working intuitively, Siobhan builds her paintings through successive layers, allowing marks to emerge, recede, and re-form over time. The process is slow and responsive, with each work developing its own internal rhythm and sense of place. Rather than depicting specific locations or stories, the paintings invite a more open, reflective engagement.

Her work is held in private collections and shown through selected galleries. Alongside her studio practice, she is co-founder of Top Art, a platform dedicated to thoughtful conversations around contemporary art and creative life.
